" I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God. Ps 22:10 NKJV. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet Unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
Ps 139:16 NKJV. Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you:
Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring; 4 They will spring up among the grass Like willows by the Watercourses.’ 5 One will say, ‘I am the LORD’s’; Another will call himself by the name of Jacob; Another will write with his hand, ‘The LORD’s,’ And name himself by the name of Israel."Is 44:2-5 NKJV.
“Listen, O coastlands, to Me, And take heed, you peoples from afar! The LORD has called Me from the womb; From the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name.
Is 49:1 NKJV. |

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be…1 John 3:2 NKJV. Significance by: J.Harkins
There are many people in this world who have entertained the thought of giving up. When I say giving up I mean giving up on everything. They have thought to give up on their jobs; their children; their spirituality; and most of all; their lives. I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. Psalm 82:6 NKJV. We are called children of the most High God, that title itself is the greatest complement anyone can give us. God himself has said we are His children, therefore our lives mean something to him. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jer 1:5 NKJV. Now look at this scripture, He says before he even brought our mothers and fathers together, he knew us!!! Therefore no one is a mistake! Not one of us on this planet just happened to come along. Each and every one of us has a purpose, and a significant role to play. All of our lives are intertwined in some way or another. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, Acts 17:26 NKJV. Now look; God has set the time of our births and the time of our death, and also the boundaries of our dwellings, this is quite interesting; He has already predetermined where we will live and who we will come in contact with.
Frank Capra, who directed It’s a Wonderful Life, was asked years ago about the central message of his classic film. After thinking a few moments, Capra responded, “I believe the real message of It’s a Wonderful Life is this: that under the sun, nothing is insignificant to God.” Now, when you watch the movie again, you know that everything that happens has intended and unintended consequences. Everything, because it happened, causes something else to happen. Everybody in that story is important, because he or she relates to everyone else. Nothing is insignificant under the sun to God. I believe that we all need to be reminded, not only that you are important to God, but also that everyone around you is significant to him, too. To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: Ecc 3:1NKJV. And now to those of you who have come to the conclusion that you just are not going nowhere; you feel that you are not getting anywhere in your chosen profession; you say my biological clock is ticking down; I’m never going to get that promotion; I’ll never get married; Everyone around me seems to be prospering more than I. I guess I’m just one of those people who are not meant to do anything great! Oh well; I guess I will just lay down and die; to those people; I want to tell this story. It was sent to me by one of my good friends. One day I decided to quit...I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. "God", I asked, "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me..."Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?" "Yes", I replied. "When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said. "In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit." He said. "Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle." He asked me, "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots". "I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you." "Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful." "Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high.”
Now if you have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, you have invited him into your life, And even if you are faithless; he remains faithful, And has said I will never leave you nor will I forsake you, and I am with you even unto the end of this age.
