The kingdom of God is getting bigger. This week we have had several people make commitments to become followers of Jesus Christ. Sunday we had an individual check on their decision slip, " I am making a first time commitment to become a follower of Jesus Christ". Tuesday a man prayed to trust Christ in a local nursing home and yesterday two ladies prayed to trust Christ in our local jail. We thank God for His faithfulness in honoring the sharing of His word.
March will soon be history and it seems the church is coming out of its bad weather blahs. We saw a great improvement in all areas of our ministry during the month of March. We averaged 216 in our Sunday School and 305 in our worship services. We met our financial budget for the month and voted to expand the church parking lot.
9 AM This Sunday our first Sunday School and Worship service will begin at 9 AM, please note this is a permanent change Easter musical this Sunday in both morning services "THE SACRIFICE" Sunday night children's musical "Jesus Is My Best Friend" No Wednesday Night Service Wednesday night service(4.4.07) is being moved to Friday night at Grace Brethren Church for "The Living Lord's Supper" (4.6.07) at 7 PM
I want to send out a special Happy Birthday to my wife Elaine. She has been a vital part of our ministry here at Faith. I couldn't have done it without her. Her birthday is on April Fool's day, but I do love her and that is no joke. Happy Birthday Nee Nee! |
