In each of the verses below, the word forty is common with all of the verses. If you were to actually read the entire chapter of each of the verses below, such as the first one Exodus 34:28, you would read the entire 34th chapter instead of just the verse I have listed Exodus 34:28. To do that with each of the ones I have listed below. This would give you a brief but good beginning in reading the Bible. It will give you a very minimal basic understanding. However, I added Matthew 26, 27 and 28 and suggest you read them in their entirety, being there would be no understanding of the Bible without reading of the Crucifixion and the whole body resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.
I assure you if anyone is not quite familiar with reading the Bible, after you read what I have suggested, you will not want to stop there. Please pray before you read. For those who have problem with their eyes, there is a totally free, including free of any advertisements, on line audio version of the Bible at http://www.biblegateway.com/resources/audio/ in which you can put in the Book and chapter that you wish to listen to, such as Exodus 34. This is if you have speakers of some kind with your computer. Also, like I suggested above for those reading the Bible, if you are going to listen to the Bible, please Pray before you do. Get confused about anything, or have any questions of anykind, feel free to email me. My email address is at the bottom of my post here. The more you read the Bible, the more you will realize how the Bible goes together to become the Word Of God. The version of the Bible that I use, is the King James Version. If you have your own Bible and it is different, that is fine. God Bless all.
