LORD
You are standing so full of grace.
With your shiney hair and handsome face.
People dream of meeting you.
Of following the clouds and skies so blue.
The stars they sleep within your care.
We sing our hymns, we say our prayers.
You can do miracles, make blind people see.
You do your best to help us believe.
You touch us with your loving sword,
To prove to us you are the LORD...
I wrote this at the age of 16yrs old.
I wrote it about a picture i seen in a bible. it was a picture of Jesus in the clouds and angels on either side of him. and the people on the ground were looking up at Jesus with such awe. So i sat and wrote this on a paper sack.it ended up making editors choice award for poetry.com for the month of may a couple of yrs ago. i hope this read blesses you as much as it has me. please leave a comment and leave your thoughts.
