| Who I am |

Hi everyone, I thought I had better let everyone know who I am. You have probably seen me around the church. I'm usually in an electric wheel chair. I can walk but not very well. When I am in a crowded area I don't have very good control of my ballance or being able to get out of the way, so I am in the chair. The chair is kind of my badge. I was diagnosed about 5 years ago. My problems probably started long before that. It took a while for everyone to figure out what was wrong with me. I can't really blame anybody or anyone. I just live just one day at a time. My wife, Peggy, and I joined the church several years ago. We had gone here before that. Peggy has been a Methodist all of her life. I started going to church when we started going together (a few years ago). Our oldest son lives in Allen and my daughter-in-law is the Assistant Director here of Playday. They have 2 of our grand-daughters and there is a total of 13 grandchildren. We also have 10 great grand-children. We have a 38' Dutch Star motor home and go camping quite often. I do physical therapy a lot. And it seems like forever. I go 3-4 or maybe 5 times a week. I have used aqua therapy for several years. We will continue this at another time. Jerry |
