| Light Up The World |

Is your light shining? Can anyone see your light? When was the last time someone came up to you and said...Its something about you but I don't know what it is. If this has not happened to you in a while or this has not happened to you at all then read this....
5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden. And people don't hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven. As light dispels darkness and enables a man to see his way, so the Christian, by his teaching and example, removes ignorance and prejudice, and discloses the way of life. You should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven. The light of the christian is to shine not ostentatiously,but naturally and unavoidably. Jesus said We are the light of the world. Why because Jesus is The Light of the world. Jesus says in.. 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

I agree with your anology. When you are able to touch folk with a smile or kind word, that says a lot about your character. The light that flows in us as Christians tend to shine outward were people connect to you for thier own reasons. Your light could be to make people laugh, smile or to make them feel comfort. God has a way of using us all. We wonder why we are in the places we are such as a job or home. The light within I believe can bring balance and peace. |

| Yes my sister....we must be busy about our Fathers Business so that men may *see* our good works, and thereby bring Glory to our Father.....This lets me know that God can't get no glory in lazy folks ;o).....We must be working in the Kingdom! |

| This is a great, and somewhat depressing word for me. lol I don't have the joy I once had, but I am pressing on towards it. Sometimes I think, 'If people look at my life, would they really want to be a Christian?' I feel like I put more ppl off to rather than draw ppl to Christ sometimes. This isn't like "poor me", it's like "Do more, Lara." |
