Well,
On Wednesday I talked to Jon and went over with him what Christ did for him and the Gospel, and he said that he believed all that I was talking about. So,...I told him again. Pray the prayer. "Tell God that you know your a sinner. Ask him for forgiveness for your sins, and tell him that you believe that He died for you so that you could go to heaven, and that you know that he rose again. Tell him, Jon." I said that it would only take a few seconds. He could do it anywhere. He told me that he would pray.
So, I talked to him again today after 5th hour. I was rushing to my locker, trying to get outside in time not to miss the bus, when I saw him in the hall. "Jon! Come over here!" As I rushed to get to my locker and get it open. He walked up. I have talked to this kid so much about Christ that he just might be able to write my biography for me. So I stayed painfully blunt. "Did you pray?" He smiled. "Well, yes I did in fact." I was overwhelmed with joy. "I prayed in the car on the way to work." "Awesome!!!" I was beaming, so happy to finally be content [at least by his testimony] that I would spend eternity with him, not having to worry about a close friend spending forever in hell! The extacy had gotten out and then I looked at the bad. "You didnt close your eyes did you!?!?" He laughed. "No." I laughed at myself for thinking so foolishly. "Sir, what were you doing when the accident occured. Praying." I laughed a little bit more and so did he. I was so happy.
So, I would like to thank you all for praying for Jon. It has paid off, and the Holy Ghost has counvited him, and taught him the truth!!!
15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Thank you so much for continuing with me in prayer and encouraging me to keep after him!
I would just like to end with this verse that I pray that I would be able to do for Christ:
3:30 He must increase, but I [must] decrease. God Bless, Alina
