2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
12:12 rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer; 12:13 communicating to the necessities of the saints; given to hospitality. 12:14 Bless them that persecute you; bless, and curse not. 12:15 Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep. 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to things that are lowly. Be not wise in your own conceits. 12:17 Render to no man evil for evil. Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men. 12:18 If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men. 12:19 Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath `of God': for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord. 12:20 But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
7:29 But this I say, brethren, the time is shortened, that henceforth both those that have wives may be as though they had none; 7:30 and those that weep, as though they wept not; and those that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and those that buy, as though they possessed not; 7:31 and those that use the world, as not using it to the full: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it. 10:14 Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk. 5:26 Let us not become vainglorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
3:12 Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering; 3:13 forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye: 3:14 and above all these things `put on' love, which is the bond of perfectness. 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful. 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms `and' hymns `and' spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God. 3:17 And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, `do' all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain:
6:18 that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 6:19 laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the life which is `life' indeed.
6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: 6:20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 6:21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that is wise winneth souls.
3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? let him show by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom. 3:14 But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not `a wisdom' that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 3:16 For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy. 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.
