"Hello, no, she is not here" half-way distraught woman who did not seem to want to answer the phone replied, "They are bringing in the bed he is laying on from the ceiling right now, many men have removed the ceiling and we are trying to have service in here".
"Yeah, she mentioned that would be happening today, any changes from last night?" he asked.
"No, none and this sucks." she blurted out.
"Yeah" in agreement, and with using wisdom and understanding of the situation and where the lady was at right then.
As the conversation continued even in the distaught situation, he was reminded of the scene where Jesus went in and wept with a family, then ministered and healed the little girl who was deceased. In the above scene, it has been catered to our day-in-time;however in the temple the fig leaves were removed form the ceiling during a meeting and this upset the whole room.....getting this man healed was not on the agenda for the meeting.
The wording above was spoken and offensive, but as we stand in truth in God's word, may we remember the greatest of these is love and to show this love in all that we do...Jesus wept. Jesus got down on His holy knees and served people right where they are at. That love through service begins to open the heart and eyes of the one hurting. Who wants to be corrected or taught at a time like this.
As Christians we see the truth and big picture and want for others to even taste what Jesus has...for we KNOW the truth and He has set us free.
How many years did it take us to get to that point in our walk with Jesus. How many trials did it take to open our eyes to that.
May we exercise love before correction, we are still standing on the truth, but watering in that simple moment instead of plucking will lead to growth.

Oh my my my.....This is just a little food for thought.....Hebrews 12:6......For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.
Of course there's a season and time for all things......
and I can't help think about old Jeremiah the weeping prophet..........
God put His Words in Jeremiah's mouth and said....
See, I have this day appointed you to the oversight of the nations and of the kingdoms to root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant
Did not Paul say.... He planted....Apollos watered....but GOD gave the increase......
Again I say.....there's a season and time for all things......Sometimes in the correcting...we are showing love....just like we do our children in the natural......
Simply food for thought...but we must use *wisdom* in all things......Amen!!!
As always.....Wonderful blog ;o)

Jesus got down on His holy knees and served people right where they are at. Yes, we need to be reminded that ministry is all about people. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Thanks Cheryl, Keep up the good work. |

| Great word and wisdom Cheryl. Your comment about how many trials did it take to open our eyes...it took way more than it should have, but I am so glad that God stuck with me! |

One thing with God He doesn't wait for the right time to work for us. But with Him all times are right for Him. We just need to trust Him. |
