Dan, that's so incredibly sad. My heart breaks for your family....!! What a sweet story, sounds like Sparky was made for you guys. What am I talking about, of course he was made for you! Thank God he blessed your family with such a precious animal, your lives would have been so different had he not come along. I'm praying God doesn't delay in blessing you guys with the next great pet, one to take your minds off of Sparky (notice I didn't say "forget Sparky")....

Wow, that is incredibly sad and I will for sure be lifting your family up in my prayers. Family pets are "family". To some they are no different than a child. What a precious little puppy Sparky seemed to be. Yes, like Mike said...never forget...but hopefully God will bless you with another pet to love and make some memories with.

Hey Dan,
May GOD be with you and your family while you go through this. It just so happens that I am up this late trying to compose a blog about the death of one of our family pets. She passed today and it helps to know that others understand. Sparky sounds like a true family member. You are in our prayers.

Aw, I feel for you guys. I lost my husky of 14 years almost a year ago.

Wow!!! Thanks you guys ... not everyone truly " gets" what a member of the family a pet can be ...
we buried him in the back and thanked The Lord for the nearly 9 years we did have.
Love your pets ,.. friends and most of all family while they are here.It so hard without spark ... what do I do when I drop some food and the butler isnt around to dispose of it for me? |

| Thank you so much - the power of prayer is all we really have in life.. time The Lord allows and his comfort when we lose someone. People are losing their babies somewhere today and I pray for them . I do however pray for all the beloved pet owners who have to say goodbye....our house is very different right now. |

I had to get rid of my dog recently. My wife didn't realize she was allergic until recently, we had him for a few years and I loved that dog. Needless to say, I was the only one in the family truley broken up about having to get rid of him. Dogs make great companions and when a companion dies, there is reason to mourn.

| I am sorry to hear about Sparky.Our pets are really like family members.Our oldest dog is older than a couple of our kids.Lord, I ask that you be with this family while they are grieving for Sparky.Lord,I thank you for the time that they had with him.He sounds like he was a very special dog,made especially by you for them.Lord,I ask that you especially be with these kids.Lord, I ask that you just heal up there broken hearts.In Jesus name,Amen. |
