There are many road blocks in this walk of a Christian life. They are meant to discourage us and get us to believe that we are trapped and there is no way out. Sometimes these hinderances are there for a reason. I believe they are there because God has placed them there to test our faith. Like the rain we cannot choose what we come against in our walk with the Lord but we can choose how we can face them. We can choose to face them with God ahead of us or we can follow in our own strength. I find at times when I try to solve things without things get harder than what they could have been. God created in us a will and sometimes that will makes me stuborn and want to do things without him. He also created in us a desire to know him. Knowing Him and becoming like Him through the death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection means that we lay down our wants and desires to follow God's heart. In His heart He wants us to depend on Him and eachother. There times when I feel discouraged but then there is always someone I can call for help.
Be encouraged. God loves you and is not finished with you.
