I'm surprised there are no takers on this.  I thought surely someone would have some ideas!  I guess this is just one of those things that we will understand better by and by!

Love in Christ,

One thing that comes to me on this is the fact that a bridge was not made until the completetion of the resurrection.  There was no way to the Father until Jesus gave up His spirit!  That's what I think.  I could be wrong.  But...the bible talks about when Jesus was on the cross and the theif accepted Him, Jesus told him that today you will be with Me in paradise.  That's probably not quoted word for word but that is the jist of it.  Does that make any sense to you?

Yes, what you've said makes sense.  But, I'm just curious to know what happened to the people after they were raised from the dead.  I mean, you have some holy people who have died and been buried - then at the time of Christ's death many of the graves are open and the bodies arise and appear 3 days later in town.  Then what?  What happened to the risen people after that?  Obviously, this is not "need to know" information, it's just something that made me go "Hmmm"!  I thought it might be interesting to see if anyone else ever wondered about this, too!

I think they went on to be with Jesus in paradise!  I believe that when Christ completed what He came here to do, then they finally had a means to go to paradise.  Which they didn't have before then.  Made me go HMMMM too!!!  As many times as I've read the scriptures of Jesus death and resurrection, I didn't remember reading about the graves bursting open and the dead in Christ walking rising and walking in the town!!!!  It was definately a WOW moment for me!
