God is an awesome God. Even in my present pain and suffering, God knows how to lift my spirits. He did it today.
This morning at 8:35 am my Granddaughter, Alyssa Marie McCutcheon was born. She weighs five pounds and seven ounces and is 18 1/2 inches long and has dark brown hair. Her Mother Jennifer, Father Michael, Sister Avery and Brother Ashton are doing fine. And of course, Alyssa is perfect. A wonder of creation from God Himself.
Jennifer and her family live here in the Jackson area. Many of you who read this will know her. She is in her last year of college. She has been studying in the medical field to become a radiologist. She has done very well in her studies and will take her certification exam and graduate in July. In fact, she took two exams on Friday and will take her last two exams next week. For the last six months she has been working clinicals in the local hospitals here in the Jackson area. All this while being a wife, mother and expecting another child.
If you would do me a favor I would appreciate it. I would appreciate any of you, who care to, to send her a card letting her know that she is being prayed for. You can congratulate her on the birth of Alyssa and/or encourage her about her schooling.
