I wanted some of my friends to be introduced to my sister in the Lord down in Mexico. God has open a tremendous window in TJ to speak His Word to the Mexican people. Here's her report to let you know some of the work that's being done there. If the Spirit of God tugs on your heart, prayer and offering would be greatly appreciated.
Well I just want to give report on a few things. 1. Yesterday we / the association had our Day of the child celebration. Baja Soul Patrol(Barnet ministry) made up 100 bags of candy treats. We put candy, cheetos, a balloon, pencil and an orange in every bag. It was a lot of fun. At the program they did a puppet show, songs, the Word of God, and then we all had pizza,drink and cake and jello. As everyone was leaving we gave out the goodie bags. Wow, it was a lot of fun. We had about 80 kids in attendance. God was good. 2. This past week began construction on the church building with Pastors Carlos and Rosa. Our ministry was able to pay for the full week of work, $235.00. One of our brothers in Christ is giving us a good deal. Praise the Lord. We are planning to be able to pay for a week a month of the work being done.( This is our personal goal.)We are so excited and blessed to be a part of construction on a second church here in Tj. 3. We also give out two food baskets this week. We gave, rice and beans about 3kilos of each in basket,shampoo, body wash, bar soap, sugar, chicken base, oranges, tomato sauces, peanut butter, TP, and a few other items too.. We were also blessed to have Pastor Sylvia and family here for dinner this week. They are doing great but still pray for them as it has been a long hard road they are on. Also pray for Alonso her husband who left them for another woman in the church. All this took place about a year ago. They are rejoicing and moving on in the ministry and rejoicing in the Lord.. God is truly good and more then able to do all we need him to do.. Tuesday begins a Pastors Tea myself and Pastor Deborah are starting here in my house. We will meet the 4 Tuesday of each month and share ideas, time the Word and fellowship.. Please keep this time in your prayers please.. Well, we have had an exciting week for sure and I just wanted you all to know what you have helped us do here in Mexico. I will be sending on pictures of the work at the church |
