My daughter saw him at a youth conference and was touched by his ministry.  We have to face it, that the world is changing, and we don't change the message, but we have to change our methods of communicating the gospel to this generation.  Thank you, for giving a positive reveiw.

David Crowder Band is indeed fantastic and one of my favorites.Their talnet is superceded only by their  genuine love and passion for the Lord. I'm glad you got to experience these fellow servants and their dynamic music ministry. I Agree with you completely that we all need to embrace an attitude of celebration for the Lord much more than we usually do. I know I personally need to! Thanks for the reminder.

Wow! I bet that was some experience! Can we take lessons from the young people? Oh yes I can. In my teens, I was a member of a very conservative church. Contemporary music you say. How liberal. Those drums...sound of the devil. The "beat" of those other instruments. Had to be just a piano and organ. I was one of those people who thought that. I raised my sons telling them the "beat" is of the world, etc. Well...let me tell you. God has opened my eyes. He has made me aware that who am I to judge what is in another person's heart as far as music worship.
I praise God that all types of music can be used to honor and glorify God... whether it's contemporary or southern gospel or just piano. Are we singing and praising God the Father in our music? Are we in the heart of worship?
It's celebration time!! We have something to celebrate that is for sure. Let's not dry up and turn our faces from the music that God put in our hearts. My oldest son is now in our praise team serving God with his music that God put in his heart. I praise the Lord Jesus Christ for this.
You don't think that God can shine through the David Crowder Band? I do. Do you think that God can shine through southern gospels "Greater Vision" or "The Hoppers" [hey, my fave is southern gospel--what can I say, I am 53 years old] and do you think that God can shine through my little JAM Kids as they sing and celebrate? I certainly do.
It's all about Jesus!
