Wow I didn't realize how many people are reading my blogs. I'm truely honored! I think once a week is about as much as you'll get from me though. If you want to know more about our personalness then visit our website listed on the profile. Now on to what I learned this morning. It's not really anything new, but I love the books that Chuck and Mrs. Wagner put out. The one I started again this morning is call "Prayers that Outwit the Enemy". I also love the fact that this book's title says it all. It's like a training manually almost to do just what it says: Outwit our Enemy! The first chapter is all I got through. How many of you go to the bookstore or library, find this awesomely awesome book, get home and then stick it straight on your shelf? Don't be discouraged. I take FOREVER to read a book! Seriously, if it's not less than 20 pages it might take me 6 months to finish a book. Jason on the other hand can pick up ANY book and be done with it that night--no kidding! I'm not envious of that. I know that God works in different ways. He might need to read that book to keep up with what God's trying to show him, but I might read that book for another year when it's my time. Think of it this way. you wouldn't want to make a life altering decision without prayer and sometimes fasting right? Being in God's timing is wher every believer needs to be. I don't want to read a book just because. I need to get EVERYTHING out of that book I can. So Chapter 1. Teaching of our lives in a view point of Chess makes you understand things differently. I'll break it down. In the game of chess there are pieces. Those pieces are our army. The people controlling the pieces are us and the enemy. Now the you have the bigger picture let's look at some key points. (Again this all out of the book "Prayers that Outwit the Enemy" plus a little of my opinion. The enemy will declare "Checkmate" time and time again, seeking to convince us he has won, BUT GOD! The KING has one more move. Don't give up so easily thinking that the enemy has won. If you let go now, what was all that time you spent fighting. A waste? Keep on keeping on. We are all different (giftings, measure of faith, places to stand) but we ALL have value! You are significant in everything you do. It's not insignificant! God always gives us a way to escape. Well, what about the why and how? Revelation. The why Reveltation's points are: 1. Causes obscure things to become clear 2. Brings hidden things to light (1 & 2 ARE different just keep re-reading them) 3. Gives us signs that point us to our path of destiny
The how Revelation's points are: 1. Reveals Himself to us 2. Reveals who you are in Him 3. Receals our enemy and how he is working against us
Pray and declare that the enemy will not take your hope for the future but that if he tries he will not succeed in causing trauma and grief. We all go through it whether it's a death or something more serious. If you allow the enemy to take hold of you in these situations many times we will lose insight into God's identity for us. We need to know the enemy. Let God show you what the enemies plans are so that the battle plan then falls into your hands and you are prepared to fight strategically. Knowing the enemy doesn't mean you are coming into agreement with him. You are figuring out how to fight advancedly. You will win the battle if you stay close to hearing the Lord and what he has for you. This isn't the time to rest. We are still in our 7 year war period. It's a constant battle. Be prepared to OUTWIT YOU ENEMY!! And pick up a copy of this book. You can order it online at many retailers but the fastest way to find it is GloryofZion.org Until next week! |
