Letter 4-27

It has been so long since Scott has had a visitor that he had run out of "stores" quite a while ago. He feels bad when people generously give him paper, stamps and such that he warned me there would be fewer letters. *sigh* But most of what he wrote in this letter was his love for me. It was truly his heart because it made my heart dance! I love my Husband!

4-27 Prayer Call has effected a lot of people. They pray and feel so touched by God that they run to me as if they had a new discovery! It's so kiddish and awesome to see. It is obvious to everyone in here that those who bury themselves in prayer and Gods Word, go home soon after. Our Prayer circle goes home sooner than those that do not come to pray. And yet here I stay. It makes me wonder if God hears my prayers. I know he does. I just get frustrated because guys go home and it starts all over again with newcomers. Then I read 19 chapters of Job tonight out loud to the tier. I hear Job's frustrations and then feel better about it all.

Skipage about water fight in the cell which is, happily, clean now.
Skipage about three guys being locked in the same box cell with a shared toilet. (ugh)
Skipage about the fact that guys need to wrestle when bored....lol
Skipage about two more "repeats" who came in.

Praise the Lord that Scott is being used so mightily by the Lord. Job is a great source of comfort. Praying for you both.

I know it's hard to see but God is at work! Stay focused on the prize! God is in control and He always does the right thing! ALL IS WELL! Do not speak that he is still in begin to call those things that are not as though they really are! (Romans 4:17), hold fast to your confession of faith! See the end from the beginning!

Ruth, it is so good to hear of Scott's letters. Even this one speaks so loudly of his love for God and his wondering of "why" which we all do. It encourages me in a sad sort of way, because my "whys" seem so trivial compared to his. If you get a chance to tell him, please let him know that his letters inspire us and encourage us.
