• Don't get defensive, God will validate you!

• Examine yourself
• Forgive the one criticizing quickly and completely!
• Don't let someone's criticism define you - Let Jesus define you!

No matter who you are, where you live, what you do or what you don't do; someone somewhere is going to criticize you.  There's always someone somewhere that's going to talk about you, run you down or try to cause you to change who you are.  Let God define you through His Word.  Find your value in Him and I promise once you've found your value in God's Word nothing no one says or does will change who you are in Christ.  God created you and if there's any changes needing to be made in your life so that you can fully fulfill the purpose He created you for ... He is definitely able to make those changes.  He created the Heavens and the Earth (Genesis 1). He keeps the world spinning just so that we're not too close to the sun to fry or too far to freeze. This world spins at just the right speed that we don't fly off..... I know God is more than capable of designing you perfect to fit His plan for your life.  Digest what others say only after lining up their words with God's Word!  After all, God is the final authority!
