| Of Dates, Olives, and the search for Hyssop |

My dear comrades, While in Israel, I had an epiphany of sorts. One of the things that I have always enjoyed was working outside on my yard. Now, don't come here and look at my grass, because it is very high because my lawn guy quit mowing and I'm in the process of finding someone else. I was recently in Gatlinburg, and there is a small garden there, that I love to visit. It reminds me of the Garden Tomb area in Jerusalem. One of the things that I am experimenting with is growing a few things indoors. So I ordered some dates from Israel (they are the sweetest things I have ever tasted) and I put the pits in some soil....I'll keep you informed if they sprout. I found a company in Florida that sells olive trees. So I ordered three. They should be here early next week. I plan on planting them at the corps. Hopefully they will grow, and be a memorial for many years to come. One last thing, I've been looking for hyssop, which makes awesome meatballs. Can't find it locally, so I am looking online at www.jesusboat.com God bless, Be well, and Keep in touch! |
