"putting up with one another in love"

Hey Doyle, why do I get the feeling you just said I'm hard to get along with? LOL

Can't dance, can't rhyme (so can't write poetry), but love to sing hymns and worship songs, or just sing songs in general....in the car, so no one hears but me! Love to worship and read God's word. God has really changed me -- to him be the glory!  ps...I really enjoy watching football...used to like playing too, but am too out of shape now. :-)

I am a daughter, sister, niece, auntie, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  I am a lover of all God's creation, especially animals.  Cats are my favorite, big and small.  I love their gracefulness and their beauty.  I love the sound of their purring.  I myself have 4 indoor kitties (Schnookie, Mittens, Pretty Eyes and Maxx), 2 parakeets (Elijah & Trinity) and 8 fancy goldfish.  I also I am a mother of four biological grown children and a step-mother to two grown children.  One daughter and five sons.  I have ten grandchildren ages ranging from 18 to 3 years.  I have a fabulous & wonderful husband who spoils me to no end (treats me like royalty he does).  We have been married nearly 25 years and still going strong.  I am a very loyal and faithful friend and I love my friends unconditionally.  I work at our local high school teaching special needs students and I also work part-time at a beautiful gift shop in our downtown area.  I am very involved in my church and for many years I have sang on our praise & worship team.  I also love performing in our church drama productions and praise dancing.  I enjoy creating and making beautiful jewelry that I wear and give as gifts to my wonderful girlfriends, mama and sister.  My favorite beads to work with are swarovski crystals because they sparkle & shimmer so beautifully when the light hits them.  When I was  younger, I taught dancing such as ballet, tap, modern jazz and ballroom.  I taught dance in Napa, Fairfield and St. Helena.  In the late 70's and up til 1994, I taught aerobics and step classes.  In one way or another, my whole life has been involved in some form of dance and exercise...I love it and it keeps me in shape.  My favorite times of the year are spring and autumn as I love the newness of the blossoms and greenery of spring and the changing of the colors and falling leaves of fall.  My favorite holiday is christmas.  I have 3 miniature christmas trees that I leave up all year round because they always remind me of how precious the season is and what it represents to me.  My favorite numbers are 3, 7 & 9 in that order.  My favorite colors are purple and sage green.   I love anything that sparkles.  I love fine chocolate candies that totally melt in my mouth.  There's also some really great candies that have nuts in them that I love as well...maybe that's why I can be so nutty at times...LOL...what was it that Forrest Gump said...Mama always said "Life can be like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."  Well aint it the truth, but isn't life grand?  Ohhhh yes it tis!!!

Hi Doyle, my name is Gary Robison.

I have been a believer in Christ since 1978, have been a Born Again believer since Jan 1st 1983.

When I was first saved, I used to have dreams of driving around the country in a big motor home, picking up hitch hikers and witnessing to them.. (I never told anyone this before).

I went to Guatemala on a missions trip, I was in Guatemala while the rest of my class was walking the stage during graduation. Went to Christ For the Nations for a while.

Went into the US Army and went native (got into a lot of sin). Have been walking back in His steps now since 1994.

Installed and serviced security systems for 11 years, started working on computers in 1999 (for pay)

Now I have my own computer business.

Hi Doyle!
I'm a grandma to 3 lovely munchkins who keep me busy! I have a cat and a husband who keep me laughing and two beautiful daughters who bring much joy.

I'm on hiatus for now--so I'm enjoying every minute of long walks in the park in the mornings and sipping coffee at the keyboard instead of fighting traffic--staying up as late as I want and not having to wear make up!

I write professionally and hang out here way too much! heehee!
Blessings to you!

I am much like you Doyle, I write (bad) poetry, not that yours is bad mate! I love Christ with all of my heart, I play guitar and alto sax, Ride a trike whenever possible. I am a family man with three grown kids and eight grandkids....family is what God intended! I love my brothers and sisters in the Lord and have compassion for those outside the church. I am a joker and a redneck and although there is much to do here I selfishly can't wait to go home...I am very homesick!

You dark horse Stuart.  I didn't know you played guitar and alto sax!  I always want to do that, and my little nephew has got a trumpet - which when I tried it, it also blew my brains out!

Well about myself:  I like writing, listening to music of most kinds...not rap-crap though.  I like reading from time to time.  Helping people, having conversations with them to see how they tick.  I've got a vast CD collection of teaching stuff and I like a good movie.  I also have a good sense of humour ,that when it kicks in - people look at me and say "only you would come out with something like that!" And if Stu is anything like me, you have to have one to keep yourself sane, ha ha.

I like to design Christian t-shirts as well. Hoping that the t-shirts will end up being a source of income in the future.

Well that's about it other then I love to praise and worship my Saviour Jesus Christ. Been a christian since I was 4.

Doyle,
I have really appreciated the sincere heart of Doyle wouldn't everybody agree??

I love the Lord.
I love my wife.
I love my kids.  I have 5 of them.
I am a banker, mortgage loan officer.
I am a pastor-teacher by gifting.
I love to preach, teach, discuss the Word if you can't tell.
I like sports, like my friends, like to have a good time.
I love music especially the louder the better, but I have found that is not always good for my spirit, so I have to limit my intake.
I enjoy my church because it gives me an out let to write, teach, discuss the Word and fellowship with God's people.

Who is Val?

I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother (GiGi), Daughter, Sister, Friend and most importantly a  Child of the Most High God.
I have 5 children and 1 grandchild...I have been married to my hunka hunka burning love for 18 years now and we have been serving in the ministry now for over 10 years. I am a pastor's wife but I am not any different than any of you. I still have problems, woes, and concerns like the next guy.
I was born a Cash and yeppers, kin to Johnny. I love all kinds of music and love to sing! I sing on our praise team at church. I play three instruments. Flute, Oboe and Piccolo.(but not at church) I love the theatre and do some myself. I love doing drama in church and other places.

I LOVE JESUS! Not afraid to admit that to anyone.
I love the fellowship on this site and I hate to see anything try to interfere with it.

I guess that is enough to chew on for now!

Who am I? Well Doyle I am still trying to figure that one out myself! LOL!

I am 25 and married. I have 2 of my own kids, and I have 2 of my sis-in-laws kids! A bunch of wild monkeys! I have only known Jesus about 2 years. I wouldn't trade Him for anything in the world. I pray daily more of You Father and less of me.

Spare time...with 4 kids running things you don't have much spare time! I do like to write, I love to sing (in the mirror with my hairbrush sometimes, but shhhh...don't tell) I love love love to ride the horses and fish. I am a painter. I am a visual person. Bubbles should know this! LOL! And more than anything, I love to just sit in the Overwhelming Presence of God's Love.

I've been to Peru, Argentina, and down the Amazon into the Jungle on missions. Guns in the face was a little scary, but more proof that God is with us! I went to Zoe School of Ministry and hope to one day do more missions.

I want to learn to fly a plane, scuba dive, and play the piano. Peanut Butter and Jelly used to be my favorite until I seen Rich's Peanute butter and booger comment. Blaaak... And I believe Heaven will smell like vanilla and lavendar! Hmmmmm....I think this is enough for now. I love mychurch. It is a powerful tool against the enemy! Blessings to all!

Hello everyone, I have really enjoyed reading the posts here it is very uplifting indeed. I did however want to add some of my story if for no other reason than to let any non-believers know its not all a bed of roses. But I ( and I am sure we) would have it no other way. I was called by God 4 years ago. It was a true epiphany having been raised in a non-Christian home. But that story I will save for another time. Right now I am off work due to illness from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue among other things. I am a single mother of two teens a son 14 and a daughter soon to be 18. I have been off more than 3 months now and it has been a constant struggle with doctors etc just to get financial assistance. It is almost more stressful being home than being at work just making sure the family can eat. I have been given some less than good news from both my children, I won't say what it was as I don't want to have it affect their lives and I never know who will be reading this. Sound depressing? It isn't. Thanks to the Lord I know I will be alright no matter what happens. He has given me everything I "need" maybe not everything I "want" but it says in the bible everything I need. He has blessed me with a wonderful best friend, beautiful children and a great church. He has saved my life. He picked me up out of the mud of life cleaned me off and put my feet on solid ground. I can only assume that there are good reasons for all I am going through and try to look for them everyday. As stressful as it has been it has given me time to spend with a son that I never felt I had enough time with. For that I am eternally greatful. It allowed me to be with a good friend 24/7 when she was going through such a difficult time she was having thoughts of suicide. It has allowed me time to re-think and re-organize my life to hopefully help heal my body and my spirit. For through adversity one builds character and finds out who they really are. I know he is teaching me and I am learning things I don't yet have use for but know I someday will. Being a Christian is not only rejoicing in the good times, but also rejoicing in the hard times. For everything happens for a reason. We don't have to like it, we only have to understand it as best we can as human beings. I really don't know how I coped without God in my life. But I am so thankful everyday that he called me. And one more thing, I always stop to look at how the rest of the world is doing. I have a warm safe place to live and food to eat. I am blessed beyond belief. Thank you for listening (reading) and my God bless you abundantly as He has me. I love you all. Wendy
