So, on our church's comments page, we've been going on about random and funny holidays for some time now. I decided that there should be an organized record of them somewhere, so I am writing this blog. I am NOT making these up! Hope you enjoy! God Bless and much fun!

I'll start with Special Months: January is National Soup Month, Oatmeal Month, and Prune Breakfast Month. Doesn't that last one sound deliteful? February is National Return Carts to the Supermarket Month, Embroidery Month, and Canned Food Month. March is National Noodle Month. April is National Guitar Month and Uh-huh Month. May is National Salad Month, Barbecue Month, and Fungal Infection Awareness Month. June is National Accordian Awareness Month, Pest Control Month, and Zoo and Aquarium Month. July is National Baked Beans Month, Read an Almanac Month, and Hitchhiking Month. August is National Catfish Month, Eye Exam Month, and Water Quality Month. September is International Squaredancing Month, National Chicken Month, and Piano Month. October is National Pickled Pepper Month, Vegetarian Awareness Month, and Seafood Month. November is National Peanut Butter Lover's Month. And December is National Read a New Book Month. And You thought there were only 12 months in a year, huh?

Then there's days. DON'T WORRY! I'm not gonna go thru the whole year! Anyways, here are some of my favorite random days, so that when you are bored, you can celebrate these days with pride! (I'll even include tips on how to celebrate them!)

Jan. 2-Run up a flagpole and see if anyone salutes day. Pretty self-explanitory if you ask me! Jan.18-Winnie the Pooh Day. Watch your favorite Pooh video from when you were little. Jan. 23-Measure Your Feet Day. Jan. 25-Opposite Day. Yes, there really IS a set date for opposite day! Jan. 28-Rattle Snake Round-up day. Might not want to celebrate this one! Hey Amber, Feb. 19-ChocolateMint Day! Feb. 20-Hoodie-Hoo Day. To celebrate this one, you go outside at noon and yell hoodie-hoo to chase winter away...guess we forgot to do that this year. March 5-Multiple Personalities Day. March 15-Everything You Do is Wrong Day. Don't worry, the 16 is Everything You Do is Right Day! March 26-Make up your own holiday day. Use this power wisely! March 27-National "Joe" Day. If you hate your name, you are aloud to to have everyone call you Joe today. April 17-Cheeseball Day. May 8-No Socks Day and Have a Coke Day. Sit down, take off your socks, and drink a Coke. May 25-Tap Dance Day. May 30-My Bucket's Got a Hole Day. Patch it up tomorrow. June 17-Eat Your Vegetables Day. June 23-Pink Day. Wear as much pink as you can/want. July 20-Ugly Truck Contest Day. Aug. 8-Sneak Some Zucchini onto Your Neighbor's Porch Night. Sept. 5-Be Late for Something Day. Sept. 9-Teddy Bear Day. Hug Your Teddy! Sept. 7-Ask a Stupid Question Day. Oct.2- Name Your Car Day. Dec. 4-Wear Brown Shoes Day. Dec. 12-Ding-A-Ling Day. Play Ding-Dong-Ditch!
