Flowers are in full boom and so are your allergies. Just as creation sometimes plays a mean joke on your sinuses, human nature can evoke relational irritation. Do you ever feel certain people send you into full-on spiritual allergy attack? Check out hese remedies for combating both seasonal and people-born allergies.
How to fight seasonal allergies Wear a face mask when doing outdoor chores Avoid the danger zone: Pollen counts are higher between 10 am and 4 pm. Try late afternoons or just after it rains. Early prevention: Begin taking medication before allergy season begins. Be kind to your nose . Use tissues with aloe vera. Rejuvenate your eyes: Place tea bags over your eyes and take a 15 minute nap.
How to fight people allergies Wear of word mask: Refuse to criticize others no matter how much you are provoked.
Avoid the danger zone: Sometimes you just need to leave the room to avoid doing or saying something you'll regret.
Early Prevention: Prepare to interact with toxic people by hitting your knees in prayer. Stay consistent in Bible study, and memorize Proverbs 15:1
15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath; But a grievous word stirreth up anger.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 13:4 Love suffereth long, `and' is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 13:5 doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil; 13:6 rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; 13:7 beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Find a soothing treatment: When you have to spend time with a person who really gets under your skin, plan a retreat with those who encourage you.
Rejuvenate your eyes: Learn to see people throught the eyes of Christ. Pray for the person who annoys you. Ask God to help you see him/her as He does. |
