So I have been surprised over and over again as to what Emma has to know before she enters Kindergarten. She came home with a letter about a month ago that included a "word list". I remember those in the first grade, but preschool??? Anyway, tonight she officially knows her first set of sight words. I was so proud of her. The other day she busts out with, "I know my address and phone number" and she proceeds to give them. Yikes! She officially knows more than me and Zach combined. I don't know our phone number and Zach can never remember our address. I thought she would at least get to second grade before she outsmarted us.
We are looking forward to Emma's ballet/tap recital on Friday. Pray for her, her nerves are like her mama, and she is super nervous about being on stage. But if all else fails and she doesn't complete her dance--she'll sure look cute, and that's really all that matters, right? The pictures will be taken whether she dances or not, and I'll post them as soon as I take them. Good night Xanga land!
