| The Love of a Mother |

Momma I wish you were here so I could say Happy Mothers day. You were the best Mother God could have given me. This Scripture sums you up Mom:
31:25 Strength and self-respect are her clothing; she is facing the future with a smile. 31:26 Her mouth is open to give out wisdom, and the law of mercy is on her tongue.
You were always talking about The Bible and quoting scriptures to us our whole lives.
22:6 If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old he will not be turned away from it.
Mom I dont know how you did all you did. You had 5 kids, we were a year apart - but you had us all spic and span on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights and Wednesday nights. Even during Revivals we were there every night. You loved us so much - I never remember you getting a new easter dress, but all us kids got new outfits!
When we were small Daddy was not a Christian - you had it all to do - but you never gave up on Daddy. When he became a Christian we could not believe it!
7:13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a Christian, and it is his desire to go on living with her, let her not go away from her husband. 7:14 For the husband who has not faith is made holy through his Christian wife, and the wife who is not a Christian is made holy through the brother: if not, your children would be unholy, but now are they holy.
Wow Momma you lived by this Scripture:
23:13 Do not keep back training from the child: for even if you give him blows with the rod, it will not be death to him. 23:14 Give him blows with the rod, and keep his soul safe from the underworld. 23:15 My son, if your heart becomes wise, I, even I, will be glad in heart;
Momma I Pray all 5 of your kids try to live by this, as I know how proud you would be:
6:20 My son, keep the rule of your father, and have in memory the teaching of your mother: 6:21 Keep them ever folded in your heart, and have them hanging round your neck. 6:22 In your walking, it will be your guide; when you are sleeping, it will keep watch over you; when you are awake, it will have talk with you.
I Love You Mom and I know that 9 years ago when you went to Your Heavenly Home all your wishes and dreams came true. |
