Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling!
144:15 Happy is the nation whose ways are so ordered: yes, happy is the nation whose God is the Lord.
146:5 Happy is the man who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: 5:17 Truly, that man is happy who has training from the hand of God: so do not let your heart be shut to the teaching of the Ruler of all.
Note from God:
Everlasting happiness comes from your relationship with Me. As you spend time with Me, your heart will be gladdened and you will be happy from the inside out. I will fill your day with small pleasures that bring you joy. Pause and look at the little gifts I give you to bring a smile to your heart. Allow My goodness and My presence to bring laughter and fulfillment to your daily life. Love, God

We used to sing a chorus in Sunday School as a children. It went like this:
Happiness is to be forgiven, living a life, that worth the living, taking a trip that leads to heaven Happiness is the Lord. Real joy, is mine no matter if the tear drops start. I've found the secret it's Jesus in my heart." Amazing how that truth I learned as a child helps sustains me through the storms of life. Even though things don't always go right and well, I am happy because Jesus is mine and I am His! |
