My dear comrades, It is Sunday afternoon, and probbaly safe to disclose my new appointment. The Divisional Commander called on Friday, and announced that I would be leaving the division, but I would be taking up my new assignment as Assistant Divisional Youth Secretary in the North and South Carolina Division, effective June 25. I have been stationed in KT for ten years, and it is amazing the friends that I have made. We've laughed, cried, ate, prayed, learned, lived, loved, lost, and most importantly grew to love God more with each passing day. I will miss my KT family, but I look forward to meeting new people, and facing this new appointment. I think the writer of Ecclesiates sums up my feeelings, and Scripture always says it better: 3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 3:2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3:3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 3:4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 3:5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 3:6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 3:7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 3:8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. I wish all my Kentucky and Tennessee family the very best, and remember to invite me back for special events! God bless, Be well, and Keep in touch! |
