| I think sometimes we all seem to thank that Christianity is just our imagination of something good, but it is really more than that. Serving Christ; which is the basis of Christianity, should be a full and complete job within us. Giving of ourselves to Him completely, wholly without reservation. Is it truly just your imagination? My living for Him means that I must first of all allow Him to be in full control of my life, asking Him daily to do the cleansing that needs to be complete within me. There is not one of us who is perfect, that really is a strong imagination, if you think that you are.. So therefore, we must rely upon the working of His Holy Spirit to guide, lead, use and complete us daily. I am so thankful that God loved me so much that He gave His only Son to die for me, then as He rose from the dead, gave me the understanding that as long as I have asked for forgiveness of my sins and strive to be an- obedient child, willing to serve Him daily and ask for forgiveness of my daily mistakes ( sins if you will) because my mistakes can cause sin to control my life and if I am not careful can cause my spiritual death. What mistakes, you may ask? Well let us see, how about, anger issues, mistrust in people, wanting my own way at times, struggling with bad habits, not listening to the Holy Spirit and following his guidance for my life. Yeah, all of you do some of that don't you, now be honest with yourself. Just take time today, even now as you read this, and allow the Holy Spirit to search out things that may hinder your response to Him. Allow Him to do the cleansing so that you can start out with a refreshed spirit and renewed love of your Lord and Saviour, Jesus Chirst. After all, it just isn't imagination, it is the gospel, it is the truth! Love and prayers, mjrdad <>< |
