Well as most of u already know(from all the well wishing) that today is my birthday.As with all things:old things pass away and all this become new.So today is a new day and a new start.The one thing that I love about winter is when it's finally over.Then we have a beautiful season called spring.Well I just happen to be a spring baby.I'm also a mommies day baby(so I'm told).I was born on the Wednesday day after mother's day 39 years ago today. As with all good things there is some labour involved.Most things that r good for us don't come so easy.If they came easy they would not be worth getting and no one would really want them.These things would not be worth much to the ones who got them.It's like working for a living.If u got paid for doing nothing it wouldn't be worth much to u would they.But because u work hard for your money it's worth more to u then if they paid u to do nothing.U appreciate the hard work that u put in to earn that money.Most ppl who work hard for their money don't go out and waste it.They budget and use it wisely.They r careful to spend every penny wisely and save some for when they need it.I know cause I've worked so hard for my money in the past.I'm disabled now but I know how hard it is to come by and I save ans spend wisely to make sure that there is some left when I need it. Well I'm looking at this as an object lesson today.See when we r christians God doesn't just give everything on a silver platter.Yes sometimes when we r new christians He helps and encourages our faith and gives us stuff when we ask for them.But after a while we have to start putting actions behind our faith right? God expects us to grow.To learn what He expects for us.He doesn't want us to be babies forever.He wants us to get in the word and to find out what He wants for us to do to prosper.As we work out our salvation as the word says.He follows us in our faith to do what His word says.As we learn to "walk by faith and not by sight".Gos accomplishes His word thru us as we put His words to practice."The just shall live by faith".Faith without works is dead".God is careful to perform His word.In the Psalms it says that "God's word will not return to Him Void, but it will accomplish that which it was sent out to do".All God has to stand on is His word.If He can't accomplish what He says in His word that He will do then what kind of God r we serving anyway? We r not serving a God who would lie.Cause "God is not a man that He should lie". This is a year of new beginnings for me and for anyone who is reading this blog.I'm stepping into a year where all things r possible to those who believe.so here I go into this very interesting new year and this will be the beginning of many great things in my life and in urs as well. God bless u all as I know He will bless me as well.The bible says that with blessings I will bless.I much rather be blessed in these last days then to be cursed.Wouldn't u?God bless u all this new season of new beginnings.
