4:17 From that time began Jesus to preach, and to say, Repent; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Andre Togo is from Mali, a predominately Muslim country in northwest Africa. He began openly preaching the Gospel and began to establish an independent Christian work.
Then one day Andre had a supernatural vision. He saw "millions of people wearing white uniforms, saying: 'People of the nations repent, for we are coming with the Kingdom of the Lord." He knew God wanted him to join this group of white uniformed people so he began to try to find them. His seeking led him to a Christian group that wears white uniforms in Africa -- The Salvation Army.
With help from Salvation Army leadership in Nigeria and in London, Andre's group was officially registered as The Salvation Army in the nation of Mali. They have now been granted permission by the government of Mali to "labor for the progress of Christianity, to struggle against poverty." Salvation Army officers from the Democratic Republic of Congo have also come to Mali to help lead this new movement.
I don't believe Andre's vision refers only to The Salvation Army in Africa, but to the entire organization. His vision shows that God's plan is to use this group of uniformed people to preach repentance to our contemporary world and to help establish God's kingdom. Not that's exciting! Like Andre, I want to be a part of what God is doing in The Salvation Army.

| So do I, Steve and may God direct each of our lives so that we glorify Him and lift Him higher, Hallelujah! Pray for SALVATION for the souls of the nations, that they too may see Him in all His glory. Amen! |

Thats my desire too...Brother Steve...I desire to fight the good fight in the army of God...
praying for the souls who have not yet come into the kingdom of God. lifting the name of Jesus higher...interceding on the behalf of all people and all nations with the love of God shed abroad in my heart...Great blog! |
