Ok, here's what happened....
This time it was an official hearing. The Judge decided that no matter what he said- the lease stood. He also sternly warned him to neverlock a tenant out again or he would be arrested (he does this all the time) They caught him in a lie where the Judge let him have it. He claimed that I did not pay him for Dec (which I did- and have to send proof) so he was awarded Dec and Jan rent. HOWEVER, the Judge said that he wants me to send an new inventory to him and anything missing will be deducted from the rent amount. And anything damaged due to water. And the Dec rent amount with the proof of payment.
What it comes down to is that HE will owe US money!! Oh, God is soooo good!!
I find this funny considering that he has gone around town telling everyone to come to his auction cuz our stuff belonged to him.
Oh, he also HAS to give me a key so I can get our stuff. I have one week to get it out of there.
The Father will provide a place to put it and the help needed to get it out.
Don't know what I am going to do yet, so God's gonna have to let me know. Do I try to get a store going? I just can't do it on my own anymore Lord. Do I put it in storage until my Man gets home and can get things going? Lots of questions I need Him to answer for me.

but this was in IN... the other was in LA
refresher... this guy did it because he heard what happened in LA |

Talk to the lawyer... appeal the case based on the this ruling? They do it all the time because of rulings based on the same type of case regardless of where it happened.
I'd put the stuff in storage after you inventory it |

Ruth, not sure how I missed this yesterday...wow...God is sooooo good.
I think Joey was talking about Scott's case...get a ruling in LA based on what has happened in IN, if I understand her correctly. Not sure that will work, but it is worth asking the lawyer.
I am standing in agreement that God will give you direction and will provide for your every need. Keep your heart open...God might surprise you here...who knows, the landlord may come back and decide it is better for him to let you resume business right where you are. I am not saying that is the right thing to do...just suggesting to keep your heart open...God is at work here and He will surprise us all... |

OH.... gotcha'! Well, that lawyer there said that he will do nothing and told Scott to do it himself. So the Lord need to provide that lawyer with a concious or another lawyer. LOL
Yeah, believe it or not that thought popped in my head yesterday. He won't be able to rent it out will all the issues with the building. Or if he does he will get someone that would sue the pants off of him.
I'm open the whatever He has planned.
Lord open the doors You want, slam the ones You don't - and glide me where you want things to be for when Scott gets home. Your plans are better than mine. Thank you Father God.
