1:8 Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward. John was warning believers about straying from the truth because of false teachers. 1:7 For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, `even' they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. The false teaching seems to center around the person of Jesus Christ. We must be careful to keep Christ central in our life and our ministry. Yesterday was a great day at Faith. It is my prayer now that we will see lasting fruit from that day. People who truly crossed the line and became sold out followers of Jesus Christ. Jesus said he who is not for me is against me. There is no middle ground, no fence straddling. I don't think John is talking about salvation in this case but Christians who are led down a wrong road in their belief system. - We must keep Faith Bible centered
- We must challenge people to an all out commitment to Christ
- There is a lot out there that can lead people astray
I have now had 24 hours to digest yesterday . . . - I am humbled by our second Sunday in a row over 420
- I am challenged by the growth, where do we put the people if we continue to grow
- Our music just blew me away, how God has blessed us with wonderful music
- I am thankful for the number of new faces I saw and the lost who I know were there
- Kevin Wright took the time to pray with me right before the services, thanks Kevin
- Were we ok with parking?
