We just got the word that Eva Seamen one of our members went home to be with the Lord. Please pray for Ron her husband and Susan her daughter as well as the grandchildren. Eva and Ron took us under their wings when they came into the church and treated us like their own children. We enjoyed many meals in their home and it was a place where Elaine and I could really be ourselves. Their home reminded me of what Bethany must have been like for Jesus. He loved to go there because of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Pleas pray for my wife this will be tough on her she was very close to Eva. The service is Thursday and family night is Wednesday. Pray for me as I prepare the message for the service.
Kevin Wright has joined MyChurch, he has already formed a group for the Mission trip. I hope one of the members of the mission team will blog during the whole trip so we back home can get a feel for what is going on down south.
Been catching up on bills all morning. :( I gained 5 lbs while in GA :( back to the diet planning to walk in a while weather permitting. catch you later |
