Oh, how beautiful and thought provoking.  We take our freedom for granted so often, not remembering the price attached!  I e-mailed this to my daughter in Hawaii, my son-in-law is in the Army and I know she will enjoy it.  I was in the Army many years ago and am very proud of my country and it's heritage.  May we all remember the great sacrifices our military men and women are, and have, made on our behalf.  May God bless them and keep them safe.

Very moving presentation and appropriate as Memorial Day comes up.

My Dad was 21 in 1943 when I was born. He didn't see me until I was 2 and a half. He fought in both WWII and then just as he was getting settled in life, he was called up for the Korean War. He worked with the big guns and he lost his hearing. But he never complained. I am so grateful for what is called The Great Generation. Soon they will all be gone and our nation will be the poorer for their passing. They paid a huge price for our freedom.

Shirley, I do hope they enjoy the song. There is always a price to our freedom, and I thank all the soldiers who have made and are making it possible.
Jay: Thanks. Dad was 18 and he and mom had been married a month, he was gone 3 years.
