Very moving presentation and appropriate as Memorial Day comes up. My Dad was 21 in 1943 when I was born. He didn't see me until I was 2 and a half. He fought in both WWII and then just as he was getting settled in life, he was called up for the Korean War. He worked with the big guns and he lost his hearing. But he never complained. I am so grateful for what is called The Great Generation. Soon they will all be gone and our nation will be the poorer for their passing. They paid a huge price for our freedom. |
