Yes a sinner, saved by grace, but you are now the righteousness of God in Christ, Jesus has given you his new born again nature, the sin nature has been destroyed, you are no longer in sin, but transformed, translated, transmuted, into a different being, a heavenly being living in an earthen body. How do we fathom this.
The mystery revealed in the word; 2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [ endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. We have been born again, we are no longer, sinners saved by grace we have received his life, we were in the past sinners saved by grace. Would you still say today that you are a baby, no that is how we entered into this earth, but we are no longer babes, we are adults, we are the righteousness of God in Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any newcreature is in Christ, the old things be passed [old things have passed]. Lo! all things be made new, 2 Corinthians 5:16-18 (in Context) 2 Corinthians 5. When we start to operate out of this new nature, we see that; to walk as Jesus walked is like breathing, every day will be a day filled with miracles sign and wonders of souls coming into the Kingdom of the nine gifts of the spirit flowing,
12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 12:8 For to one is given by the (1)Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the(2) word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 12:9 To another (3)faith by the same Spirit; to another(4) the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 12:10 To another (5)the working of miracles; to another (6)prophecy; to another (7)discerning of spirits; to another(8) [divers] kinds of tongues; to another (9)the interpretation of tongues: 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is (1)love, (2)joy, (3)peace, (4)longsuffering, (5)gentleness,(6) goodness, (7)faith, 5:23(8) Meekness, (9)temperance: against such there is no law. 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Wow. In so doing we fulfill the great commission that the Lord gave to us of ,Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. But first make sure that you are fully equipped as the soldier in the picture.

Paul didn't write to believers to put on self-righteousness, or, pretend to be righteous, in one place he wrote...........simply to ....wake up to it ! Acknowledge and accept what the Lord hath done !! Then walk in it !! Glory to God !!
15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak [this] to your shame.
