Hi all THANK YOU for all the prayers!!
21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith." My son got in touch with us the day after I asked for prayer. He explained to us why he left. It had to do with Tammy's aunt who wants to make trouble and control Tammy's life. I explained to him we were very concerned, that we felt so powerless in all this. That it isn't our place to let people know what is going on in his life or make excuses for him. I also told him that he and Tammy are adults ( not acting it ) and that he should talk to tammy & explain this to her, if he really wants to be in her life.
Powerless over Others
Stop making excuses for other people.
Stop making excuses for ourselves.
While it is our goal to develop compassion and achieve forgiveness, acceptance, and love, it is also our goal to accept reality and hold people accountable for their behavior. We can also hold ourselves accountable for our own behavior and, at the same time, have compassion and understanding for ourselves.
When we claim powerlessness, we are not claiming irresponsibility. We have no power to control others, what they do, what they did, or what they might do. We're stating that we are willing to end an ineffective life based on willpower and control. And we're beginning a spiritual, mental, and emotional journey in which we take responsibility for ourselves.
We are not victims. We are not helpless. Accepting powerlessness when that is appropriate enables us to begin owning our true power to take care of ourselves.
Today, I will avoid making excuses for my own or someone else's behavior. I will let consequences and responsibility fall where they belong
We were so relieved he was ok! Which we knew in our hearts, but all the same was concerned as he is going through so much and we as parents want to protect them, help them in any way we can, with out controlling them! Showing Love & kindness ,having faith in Him to help us so we may help them. It isn't easy!! It took work on my part not to act out, but to reach out to God and to you guys. I also did some writing which was suggested and It helped me see through the turmoil! When We Practice Real Love 18-20My dear children, let's not just talk about love; let's practice real love. This is the only way we'll know we're living truly, living in God's reality. It's also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves. 1 John 3:18 (The Message) God is soo amazing!! Sooooo truely awesome! I know if I didn't have faith in Him , I'd be a utter mess! As would my husband. I read out of the the book of Proverbs to him and he was calmer afterwards. He isn't as strong in his faith as I am in mine, but together we are strong! That in it self iis another miracle!!
21:23 He who keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.
I want to thank you all again for all the prayers! I am most grateful!! I hope to get my computer back soon, so I can read all the posts! Till then I will check in when I can. Know you are all in my thoughts and Prayers each day!! I also know that my son has a long road ahead of him , as does Tammy, but the seeds have been planted and my husband & I will continue to pray for them! It's in God's hands. We are here for him as well as Tammy & the girls.
3:16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, 3:17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 3:18 may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
Special Blessings & Prayers Lots of Love & Hugs Donna
6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will not cast out.

I am so glad you heard from your son... I will keep them and you in my prayers.... We have a awesome God; that gives us so much... just know that the prayers are already answered... we can have peace in that... It's just all in Gods timing, and it's hard sometimes to wait to see how it all unfolds... So until then we will keep praying, and God bless |
