| What is truth |

In a land far, far away and nearer than the heart is a place where truth lives. Many have came across this oasis of hope in the desert of resignation. There the weary, the thirsty, are refreshed and restored. Strengthened, they continue on in their search for GOD's great plan for their life.
Often it has been heard said, "It is a great place to visit but I don't want to live here." Indeed, it is a truly beautiful place with a simplicity that has an almost child-like nature to it. Such a wonderful refuge from the complexities and demands of life. But its' greatest appeal is also its' greatest shortcoming. Truth is too simple for the price it would cost to own.
To live here would cost someone everything they own. There have been those who have tried to give all their money, their knowledge, their ability or talent. These are not things they own. Sometimes they are gifts. Sometimes they are things that own the "owner".
No, to live here would cost something far more valuable than these. It would cost you your treasure. Your treasure is whatever you hold on to and will not let go of. It is amazing the things we treasure. And even more amazing to watch someone walk away from truth pulling their cart of guilt, self-hate, pride, unforgiveness, whatever thru the sands of resignation.
Perhaps, if truth marketed itself better it would be more successful. There certainly have been many who have accepted money, knowledge, ability and talents and have built great monuments to truth. But it is not truth.
To the one who willingly gives their treasure they receive not acreage or a deed. In exchange for all they give they receive one tiny seed.
