I see where you're coming from Steve, and certainly I can relate...but on the flip side of that I guess I have to remember that if it was't for those lives that were lost in war, we probably wouldn't have the freedom to express ourselves...even here on MyChurch.

MarJay:  The vast majority of wars in human history haven't been about freedom at all.

That may be true my friend...but somebody paid the price for freedom of speech.  Does that make it right???? Do I glory in their deaths???? Without out a question....*No*. I'm saddened like yourself, that so many people have had to die by other people in mankinds wars.

MarJay:  Unfortunately, we in America have forgotten some of our bravest freedom fighters:  Nat Turner, Denmark Vesey (I am not certain of the spelling of his last name), the runaway slaves, the heroic Native Americans who fought for their freedom, the abolitionists and those who died in that movement, those who spoke out against and were murdered by the KKK, and many others.
