I'll Stand Out
I can't just fade away
into the she say so i say
he do so i do
I'm souled out
i'm committed to living life like Jesus
so my unholy & unrighteous desires must
become few
Actually my desires must shrink to one
my Quest in this life is for his will to be done
my Quest is that his will be talked out, walked out
and lived in re-run
this Quest is an act , an instance of pursuing him
I'm done Questing after things that always do me in
my tainted desires may be great
but he in me is greater
my sinful desires may sometimes creep
but he in me is the creep detector
it's up to me to hear the bell
like when it rings loud before the fight
i got to be willing to box it up until my desires take flight
i can't give up this Quest
i have to keep it moving
i can't sell out, fail out
i have to stand out against losing
How will i win? By Questing after him
this is my Quest- to standout & be
souled out for him
this journey may be long & some wrong things
i may admire
but those wrong things will be burnt up as i
Quest For Fire!!!!!!!!
