I've been reading His Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew's book, "Encountering the Mystery: Understanding Orthodox Christianity Today" (Doubleday, 2008) 

Its a very easy and good read. I recommend it and am even thinking of doing our Summer 08 Questions in Faith program around this book, i.e., using it as a textbook. We've been playing around with the idea of expanding our podcasts and embellish it with more interactive components - so this may be a start, to taking our QofF program outside the Glendale market.

Published only a few months ago, the book is available just about everywhere - including, a copy in the libraries.
