Journey of Love continues....

The day is over.  Night is here.  My eyes are ready to close.  My body is ready to rest; however I look at the time and realize that it is still early.  I put on my pajamas and make a cup of hot tea as I log unto MyChurch to write what is on my heart.  It has been awhile, yes I know, but I had to go through some things in life in order to share them with you.  For this journey of love is not just a make believe fairy tale, but rather it is a story of how the love of God stands through the tests of time to be found faithful and true.  It is a tale of romance that God has for me and for you.  Yes, my friends, I gladly welcome back....the journey of love.

Tonight's journey finds us in a tired spot on the road of life.  As mentioned earlier, I am weary and ready to call it a night, but first God wanted me to share this with you.  Sometimes He will cause things to happen in your life so that He can protect you and others from yourself. 

Let's take tonight as an example:  This evening, God made my body weary, so that I could actually turn in and get some sleep.  This protects me from being worn out tomorrow....for only God knows what challenges may come my way tomorrow.  This protects me from myself....for only God knows the temptations out there longing for me to sin.  This protects others from myself...for only God knows how I get frustrated, tired, and aggravated when weary....Trust me...you don't want to hear that in a blog!

Yes dear readers, tonight's journey finds us stopping along the path of love and resting which shows our trust in God.  Maybe if God allows me too, I shall share some of the stories about the pain, the anger, the hatred, the repentance, the love, the loneliness, the tears, and the victories that has occurred in these silent days.  Maybe then you shall see through my examples how God is leading not just me...but all of us....down the Journey of Love.
