Tiff,
I can identify. I paid for my own college too, my first car, etc. I did have the benefit of having a loan from my Grandma, which I paid back to her with interest, but shortly after college I got married and Craig and I paid for our wedding and our honeymoon by ourselves and also bought a house! Looking back, I'm not sure how we did that, but God provided. I also think I learned a lot more in college and appreciated it more because I was paying for it and working hard to get that education. It's hard to watch others being handed everything - but there are a lot of things in life that are worth working for, and I think that your education is definately one of them. Go for your Disney dream - that's a once in a lifetime experience, and if you feel God's leading - follow Him. I look back at college as one of the most fun experiences ever - I hope that someday you will also say the same. Take this time to explore and do things that are easier to do as a young women without the commitments of family. Keep studying hard - it's worth it - trust me - I'm right behind you and if there's anything I can ever do to help out - let me know! Love ya! Robin Mowrey |
