6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual `hosts' of wickedness in the heavenly `places'. 6:13 Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. 6:14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 6:15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 6:16 withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil `one'. 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 6:18 with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,
"When it rains it pours!" Remember that old saying, how relevent and true it is in today's times still; maybe more so. I remember stories of my family about my great-grandmother sitting on her back porch churning butter, scooping the cream and adding sugar to make home-made ice cream. When the guys came home, they would gather under a huge oak tree and eat, laugh and enjoy the cool, southern breeze. The main concerns were if a stranger came around or getting a stain out of a dress.
Thank you for the many prayers and love you gave to me and my daughter during these past trials. God said, we have not because we ask not, then He says to praise Him in this storm. Through this and the moment-by-moment prayers and praise God had brought me to a deeper fellowship than what I dreamed possible. When the walk i had felt like the ultimate, God says, let me add the sugar and sweeten the dish. Then God and I sat outside for hours and enjoyed the cool southern breeze while we laughed about the storms.
Storms will come and go....God is the same yesterday, today and always. To God be the Glory! |

| With some of the comments written here, why do I hear an echo in some of the blogs I have written a month or two back? Mountaintops and Valleys, high's and lows so on and so on. Like Brother Todd has said (paraphrasing things) its only when you hit rock bottom that people find out what they're really like. You believe it or not Cheryl have remained stable throughout. The high's and lows have been real (and only you know what they've been like), but the real "Cheryl" has remained stable because of what you believe in. Its that deep understanding that nobody can put words to. Oh by the way. WELCOME BACK! |

| People that enter into trials without God do not know what they are missing! Even if we see Him as a bright light at the end of the dark tunnel, it is our faith that reaches up and His faithfulness that reaches down. Where else should we reach? God bless you and yours Cheryl. |

We love you, and are happy to pray you through your trials. Something good comes out of everything, and I would say a deeper relationship with the Lord is one of the best things that could happen! |
