How Great Is Your Faith!

The word says that Abraham was old and his wife Sarah was barren and could not have a child yet Abraham believed. We must ask the question why did he believe even in the most unbelievable circumstances for Sarah and himself? Well I would say it wasn't because he believe within himself he could muster up this last burst of energy from somewhere to make this thing happen, but surely it was because of "THE PROMISE." Now it wasn't just "THE PROMISE" either, but rather who made "THE PROMISE." GOD made a convenant with Abraham and told him he would be called The Father of Many Nations which would start from Isaac his son with Sarah. He simply believed GOD at His word of having a son with his wife. Now GOD didn't tell him exactly how and when this would take place but that it would. His faith in GOD made him believe that in his old age and his wife barrenness that the two of them would produce his aire. Now Abraham goes down in the history of the bible as "A Man of Great Faith" for we know that GOD is moved by our faith and HE is just that faithful to do what HE has promised.

If you are familiar with this story in the bible then you know that Sarah tried to help God out by having her husband sleep with another woman. Now after the fact she got jealous and vindictive with the other woman regarding her son with Abraham. How many of us know that you can not make Ishmael turn into Isaac. If we could do it ourselves we wouldn't need GOD now would we? Then we want to turn around and help HIM do what only HE can do. GOD don't need our help...HE GOD ALL BY HIMSELF and beside HIM there is no other.

If there is a situation in your life that your are facing and you within yourself can not handle it, then my advice to you is that you put your faith to work and LET GO AND LET GOD! GOD IS ABLE!

Yes, or suffer the consequenses of taking matters into your own hands, as I have found out many times.

f we could just be steadfast and be still & know that God is faithful to His word, Just let go & let God It sounds easy & it's not but after a few times of I, us letting flesh take over we will learn we can not out do God, we cannot rush God his timeing it's not ours.
