Does anyone feel like you take one step forward and then BAM, something knocks you back on your backside?
Well, a few weeks ago captain preached about "Pressing oN"
phil 3:12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. 15All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.
I am sooo tired of falingl back on my backside, and seeing others fall back on their backside!
It's time to take God at HIS word, and trust HIM. IN HIM we are 'more than overcomers" we are MIGHTY Warriors, IN HIM.
I can do ALL things in Christ who gives me strength. We say it, and we teach it to kids, but DO WE BELIEVE It our selves??
We better start, or the devil is gonna keep knocking us back on our backsides.
PRESS ON, people. CLAIM THE PRIZE THAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TOO IN CHRIST JESUS!
Press ON!! Don't give up, and don't give the devil a foothold, or strong hold, or TOE HOLD!
