Patience
Yesterday we covered several definitions of Patience and the derivative of the word. Today we will look at some examples of excruciating circumstances involved with patience.

Prayer: Father, thank you for today. Thank you for being always present even when we don't feel you and don't remember that you will never leave us nor forsake us. You can see on the other side of the bridge of our circumstances before we can for you have prepared the way and made our path as sure-footed as a deer. Your word is a light unto our path open our eyes Lord and give us your wisdom and understanding. In Jesus name, Amen.
Many people exist in the Bible who have been through extra ordinary circumstances. One does not fully understand even with their wildest imagination how another can feel until they them self go through a patience walk. Then each variable and how it effects each individual is just that...as individual as each person who endures the trial. When your learning patience its not usually a trial you want to be in. Many times it is a situation out of your control.
What do you do when your under so much pressure and stress that the world feels like it is collapsing on you and your instructed when you pray to be patient?
Are you suicidal? Many people are suicidal and it is a high probability many people in ministry are suicidal. The statistic rate for Pastors committing suicide continues to climb. Where do they turn to talk when they need someone?
Depression can grab ahold of one without them realizing it. Chemical Depression or Emotional Depression can seize your decision making an steal your moment of life as it rears its ugly head in different situations. How do you handle this when you are having to wait on a situation.
As a reminder, God is Sovereign. God is still in control of this world. Today you woke up and God still had gravity in place holding everything in order. God still had the axel of the sun and earth on the right motion ...just one millionth of a degree off and we would burn up...aren't ya glad He is in control! God is still in control of your life also.
29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.
Today's example of Patience is with Joseph. (Genesis Chapters 37-50)
Talk about patience and not understanding why the purpose of this trial. God used Joseph in many ways and ultimately to save the people from famine. God knew what was on the otherside of the bridge even when years later...Joseph did not understand. God also had a added joy to this trial, God used this experience to teach all those men...Joseph's brother's, about true forgiveness through love and no retaliation from their actions. God taught peace and a non-judgemental way. (Genesis 50:15-21)
God has a reason and purpose for the trial you are enduring. God is faithful...I don't just say that, I am a living-breathing testimony for God's faithfulness. God is right beside you. As you are raining tears, God is right there to collect them...He puts them in a jar and knows why each one was shed...for you are precious to God. God loves you, no matter how hard the trial is, God has not changed.
Love God:

| Good post! We get so bogged down in the trial, we often don't ask God what He wants us to learn from it :) |
