Hit or miss the mark.

WOW! Does this one ever hit the mark for me.I'm human and I struggle with these things right now.I'm trying to come back to God and do what is right in His eyes.I don't know if anybody else out there has thoughts and feelings that r not right in God's eyes.Lusting is a big thing for me.I would love to be more patient and wait for God to bring me a mate instead of me looking for one on my own.There r days that it's not so easy.So here I am,I've been learning again to lean on God for help and support in this matter.Only God can help me (and anyone else out there who struggles with this in their lives) to get thru this.So here I am God help me to not give in to the lust of the flesh.


2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever.

Maddie, most of us if we were honest struggle with those issues.  Keep calling out to God for help as you have been doing and ask for strength to resist temptation.

We all have to decrease and crucify the flesh - how do we do that - by denying it what it wants --

from the inside out -- God said, " if you love Me, keep my commandments"  That is what pushes us from the inside to deny the flesh --

You love Him Maddie-- release it - fill yourself up - with Him -- everyday -- 1 day at a time --

Maddie you were doing so good why are you still talking about lusting, all you have to do is give it to God and stop picking it back up. Your last few blogs were very positive stay are track when get those feeling pick up the word,
