Don't know if I said this or not but Scott started out in the Navy right out of high school.  Ending up a Chaplin.  Then went in the Army.  Ended up being a drill Sgt for newbies and then when he got out he was a recruiter.  As that booming drill Sgt who never cursed at those boys his cadence was praise song words and whatever he could come up with in a split second *sigh* I can just picture it!  That gives you a more detailed look at him. 

The first inmate skippage is a horrible story of how he got there by doing something completely by accident.  This man is so guilt ridden and hurting that I had to give just enough info because Scott asked me to pray for him and I'd like you guys to join me.

5-23     I hope my puppy remembers me when I get home.  God has protected me through so much in here that I will have so much to talk about when I get home.  I am looking so forward to hearing all that God has done on your end.

Today was another Faith day.  I spent it talking to the guys about how they are doing and getting more of it.  One guy  (story skippage) ... I told him to believe and pray.  And to write his his wife and tell her how much he loves her.  To my surprise, he had it written by prayer call.  Please keep him in your prayers.

5-24     We went outside again this morning (seems to be happening more frequently now)  I ran for over 20 minutes.  Then started walking and "Military Man" walked with me.  He is having such a rough time.  (history- This man was on the same ship that Scott was only 20 years earlier.  He is also the guy that Scott stood up for when we prayed because it got so violent in there)

5-25     The guys came in waking me up asking if I wanted to go to the yard.  I'm not sure why they call it the yard, it is all concrete.  Whatever!  I went out with them and I ran again for about 15 minutes.  Two days in a row and I didn't die.  After we came in I had one visitor after another until lunch.

Lots of info here from a guy considered a "law expert" on the inside telling him how it is all going to work in his case.  Trying to instill fear and telling him to take the deal.  Come to find out- when Scott called yesterday-  this man was sent by the Parish.  What is that now, three people they've sent?

Ok, back to the letter...

5-26     I think every day is a counseling day now.  It's 2:30 pm and I have been doing it all day.  Oh "Repeat" says Hi !  (skippage about how crazy stores make the guys and the threats that go on after they get them that lead to)... this guy got beat down bad!  Do you think any guards did anything- No!  That guy never comes out of his cell because of how they act but they went to him.  It looks like his arm is broken.  Then the one that did the beating comes to me and asks me to pray about the guy he beat down's case.   I gave him the truth in Love.

Remember my replacement?  He had requested transfer to do a specific job and well,  he got flung.  Which means he did something wrong and they got rid of him.  I'll get some one on one time with him and see how he is.
