Jerry I have been going through this - when it begins I try and just give it to the Lord - I have to admit though that sometimes I think I can handle it on my own - Not True - I am trying harder every day to just cast my cares on The Lord - thanks for this post

Truth!
Every thought being captive to the authority of our Lord
because we are given the Holy Spirit to DEFEAT the enemy of our Soul.

But Jesus asked us to teach the kingdom principles based on LOVE.  But Brother do think we should fight others?

Ragland.  Our fight is not against others, but against the forces of darkness that work against us inside of our mind.

God has given us all power and authority over spiritual forces of wickedness.  We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. l

Yes, but now you're hitting home, my friend.  I feel so victorious when I feel I have overcome those inner negative impulses, but when I fail, I feel so guilty.  Which would I rather feel, victorious or guilty?  It's a no-brainer!  I'm declaring war right now!

15:57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
