Juan-I am suffering from a handicap myself. This is not meant to be  personal to anyone's situation. This is to show us that God can and does say no to us. Even in our illness, suffering, pain,or whatever state we might be in, God can still use us for His Glory. Some people God heals physically and some he doesn't. But we are still God's children and He wants to get the Glory and the Praise out of our lives. We no longer belong to ourselves. We belong to God.

A lot of heavenly wisdom, Dr. Tameka.  Thanks!  Here's another thought:  We live in a fallen world.  Unfortunately, Eden was a paradise lost.  Satan runs rampant and mankind continues to make choices...good and bad choices.  So, when a child is affected by the diseases and disorders of this fallen world, is it God saying no?  Or is it a consequence of a fallen world?

And here's the important part:  how do we respond (choose) to a fallen world and its calamities?  Do we choose to cling to God's promise to "never leave nor forsake us" or do we cling to world's remedies?  Here's a hint:  all God ever wants from us is faithfulness to Him...in spite of those things of the world that would pull us away.

The rewards of choosing Him over the world is Paradise regained!

Juan- at the end of the message it said that loving one another is what God wants. That is what the piece is all about. We should ask God to heal us, care for us, protect us . The bible says ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the doors we be open unto you. Thank you for many a good point and commenting.

Ed- thank you that's a good point. God also says no, because he knows what lies ahead for us. Meaning He could say yes to what you want and you get it, only to find out that the situation you wanted was not good for you. Then your asking Him to get you out of it.

I feel you Dr. Tameka...GOD truly *is* Sovereign....YES our Awesome God has the POWER to HEAL and DELIVER, but unfortunately everybody *is not* made whole....(Just look in any hospital and you can be sure many of them in there are Christians).  Even in Jesus' own ministry there were some things that He (Jesus) could not do, because of their unbelief.....Not to say that unbelief is why many are not healed....I'm simply saying that sometimes GOD does allow some of His children to endure many things....but that does not change WHO *He* is...He is still God....Sometimes it *is* a faith walk...and sometimes it takes years for the manifestation of a healing...Look at the woman with the issue of blood who had to wait 12 long years....Look at the man who sat by the pool of Bethesda for 38 years.....They had to *wait* on GOD...but in the end....GOD showed up.....One thing to be grasped from this is...

What ever state we find our selves in, or what ever hand has been dished to us in life...we have to TRUST GOD, and continue to speak His Word...For life and death *is* in the power of the tongue....and God is the same God Yesterday...Today...and Forevermore!  I am a *living witness* of the supernatural healing power of God....My healing did not come overnight....I had to continue to *speak* to the mountain....and over a period of time....Bless His Holy Name....It *was* removed!  So I say to all those that are still believing God for healing for yourselves, and for loved ones....Hold on and be encouraged....God is still sitting on His Throne, and He does indeed still have the POWER to heal....and even if He doesn't do it...He's still God!

I asked GOD to take the pain from my festering teeth in my mouth, at first the pain subsided, but later increased. Maybe GOD wants me to take the meds the doctor gave me.  I took pain medicine and antibotics, nothing,  I drunk warm water, and salted my gums, nothing pain subside but came back.  I cleaned my bathroom and kitchen it subside longer and came back again. It when I gave up on the remedies, stop fearing the pain and said GOD you take everything I don't know what to do, but I will wait for you. This was around 12 or 1 am, when all of a sudden I found I had woken up to go to the bathroom, sleepy but without pain and this was around 5am my next med hour. I thank and praise GOD for HIS mercy and forgiveness for fearing and impatience. You see before I didn't let go of the problem I was trying to solve it in my mind  with remedies and other foolishness and I wasn't letting GOD solve the problem for me by waiting on HIM.

GOD is healing me, it wasn't the medicine and HE uses the medicine sometimes to do it to, but it is all GOD doing, long as we give it to HIM and let it go.

Beautiful poem, it got my typing going and my praises to GOD up again.
