| God is still faithful! |

My husband and I have been going through so much over the past couple of years - his injuring his back, the loss of his job, the loss of my job, losing our house - and dogs, filing bankruptucy...and still, God has been with us through it all.
We have grown closer to God and to one another. One of the great things that has come out of this time of trial is that on July 3rd we will complete reading through the Bible together for the first time. This is actually the first time my husband has read through the entire Bible. We started together many times, but after a couple of weeks he lost interest. He said he wasn't doing it to please God, but to please me. Now, he is doing it for the right reason - as a result of our trials pushing us ever closer to God.
Because we lost our house, we moved, and discovered a new church. My husband was baptized in the Holy Spirit. I am a 3rd generation Assemblies of God, so this was normal for me. But, my husband wasn't. And he is excited!
We still are struggling, but every day we are finding God's faithfulness in new ways. And I thank God daily for the growth in our lives, both emotionally and spiritually. Paul said to rejoice in your trials. I rejoice in our trials, because we have learned that our jobs are not our source, but our source is Jehovah Jireh - Our Great Provider!
